Ms. Ngo Thi Xi – Deputy Director of the Global Women’s Network – is one of the individuals who has made many persistent and meaningful contributions to the formation and development of the Network in Vietnam. From the very beginning, when the Network opened its office in Vietnam, she was the one who connected the first members, helping to lay the foundation for a closeknit, humane community of women who together spread positive values.
With her dedication, responsibility, and sincere spirit of companionship, Ms. Ngo Thi Xi has always received special respect from journalist Luong Ngoc Han – the founder and director of the Global Women’s Network. At the launch of the Global Women’s Network in Vietnam, the journalist stated: “Thank you, Ngo Thi Xi, for standing by my side during the early days of building the Network in Vietnam – a challenging but also passionate and confident period. Her quiet but persistent contributions have helped the Network gradually stabilize its organization, expand its connections, and build credibility within the women’s community.”
Before becoming deeply involved in women’s association activities, Ms. Ngo Thi Xi was a successful and accomplished figure in the insurance industry. After retirement, she did not choose a life of leisure but continued to dedicate her time and effort to community work, actively participating in women’s association activities and accompanying women in many meaningful programs that foster connection and sharing.
As a travel enthusiast and Deputy Director in charge of networking and development for the Global Women’s Network, Ms. Ngo Thi Xi has had the opportunity to travel extensively, meet many people, and expand the network’s relationships. For her, each trip is not simply about exploring new lands, but also about cultural exchange, strengthening bonds among members, and spreading a spirit of solidarity.
Sharing her reasons for her long-term commitment to the Global Women’s Network, Ms. Ngo Thi Xi said she particularly cherishes it as a non-profit platform where women can interact, learn, build upon each other, and complement one another to continuously improve themselves in terms of knowledge, skills, and life values.
In recognition of these contributions, Ms. Ngo Thi Xi was awarded the Golden Lotus Connection Award by the Global Women’s Network and was also honored to be included in the Top 50 Women of 2025 – well-deserved accolades for a woman who lives a life of dedication, contribution, and continuously spreading positive values to the community.
