The "Scars of Life 8" with the theme "Tu Diep Thao" is a charity auction organized by Ngo Thanh Van, aiming at raising awareness and funding for disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects throughout Vietnam. Being held at the French Consul General’s Residence and Garden in November 29, the event had raised USD 421,200, equivalent to VND 10 billion, which meant the lives of 351 children would be saved.
In the private auction, Accor Plus membership card, including one complimentary night’s accommodation at AccorHotels, was auctioned at USD 470, partly contributing to the success of the event. We would like to say thank you to Heartbeat Vietnam Ambassador Ngo Thanh Van and Vinacapital Foundation for approaching us and giving us such a valuable opportunity to fulfill our social responsibility. We do hope to accompany with “The scar of life” in the upcoming years.
